Things I Love Today

evening ride

I have wanted to do a weekly post sharing different things that inspire or challenge me, things that make my days a little brighter, or things I've purchased and want to share with you. I'm a random blogger for sure so I'm making a list to share and who knows when the next one will come.

I have been using Everyday Minerals for a few months and I love it. I had no idea make-up could make me so happy. I have never used anything but pencil eyeliner but now I will use nothing but mineral eyeshadow and a tiny little brush. Their brushes are amazing bamboo and so soft.

I started running again. So this post is still true but I missed the road beneath my feet. I'm using the C25K app and I love it. I've used C25K before but I had to carry a stopwatch, this is a bit more convenient. I can listen to my favorite music and it tells me when to run/walk.

Not sure I've mentioned before that I'm gluten free. It's another post for another day but I have found a couple things that have made it easier. I love Silly Yak Bakery, and if I was closer I would have them ship me some quinoa poppyseed bread. I'm using Bob's Red Mill gluten free flour. I also like Betty Crocker's Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies, when I like a little treat. I mix up the whole package but refrigerate the dough so I can make one at a time.

And now and Etsy love. One of my first purchases from Poor Pitiful Pearl was a dress that I still wear all the time. I love everything I've gotten from Shauna, I love that everything is upcycled AND funky. She is super sweet too and we are hoping to meet when we go to Texas.

Dan and I are both reading this Radical book right now. (It's only 5 bucks in Kindle) Feeling challenged in our faith for sure.

And the last thing to share that I want to share today, is that our little gypsy circus was blessed to be photographed by Tara Whitney. And you can see a sneak peak.

  1. So much to love! I heart Every Minerals too. :) I do not heart that gluten free flour though. It tastes funky to me. But Betty Crocker is a guilty-pleasure. ;)

  3. We are reading the book Radical too. So far I love it. Very Challenging though. Had no idea you were GF. Two of my kids have Celiac disease and the whole house is GF. I don't care for the flour either but Betty crocker's line up of GF foods are the best! I love Udi's bread and Pamela's baking mix. Chin up my dear.
